A- I find accents absolutely AWESOME! and
B- I had just woke from a nap where, in my dreams, I happened to be living back-in-the-day in Britain living the story of Pride and Prejudice written by the famous Jane Austen [who happened to be British]
A random dream, yes, but a dream nevertheless.
Anyhow, it is the marvelous Music Monday!
And the Taste of the Week is... Mystery Flavored Air Heads!!!!
And the Taste of the Week is... Mystery Flavored Air Heads!!!!
Of course, allow me to explain myself..
Last week I sort of jumped ahead and decided to talk of lyrics. Yet, as I soon figured several hours after the fact, I knew nothing of what you dear people liked to listen to! Dear me! I'm so sorry!
Therefore, I would absolutely love to hear from you!
What type of music do you like to listen to???
Who is your favorite artist(s) and what do you adore about them??
Don't be afraid to leave a comment of message nor be afraid to tell your favorite genre because Miss Kiki here happens to love and find something beautiful of ALL genres. Therefore, comment away, and with them I shall see who the wonderful Artist of the Week shall be!
Much love, darlings!

I know it's Tuesday, but I figured I'd comment anyway.
I'm not picky when it comes to music. I'll listen to anything from Jazz to Metal or Classical to Pop. Some of my favorite genres are classic rock and blues. I'm a huge fan.
Lately, I've been visiting my grandfather a lot. We've been listening to his old records so my brain has been inundated with Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, and Billie Holiday. It's been great listening to them.
I love hip-hop and anything I can dance to. But the classic hip-hop (Run D.M.C. Sugahill Gang, Kurtis blow, Salt-n-pepa and so many others) are my favs. I've learned to like some alternative music due to the school I go to, but I like pretty mainstream bands I think. 3OH3 is decent, love Panic! at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes.
But I'm open to anything except opera, metal and country. That'll take a while :)
Just found a great new artist--Paris-born, I think, Nigerian singer/songwriter Asa..."Fire on the Mountain" is posted on my site if you want to take a look/listen...I *love* her voice, her style (none of the glamor/gloss/bootyshaking of so many US black women artists), and her tribute to her mother, "So Beautiful," is just that...
